Changes in Heat Shock Proteins in Cardiac Hypertrophy,n, not only HSPs but also many other genes such as proto-oncogenes are usually induced. It is unclear whether the induction of HSPs is essential for the development of myocardial hypertrophy, or whether HSPs have a role in the development of myocardial hypertrophy in combination with other genes.

The Influence of Heat Shock Proteins in Atherogenesis,e periods, making it difficult to pinpoint the influence of a putative atherogenic agent on disease progression. Consequently, classical risk factors for atherosclerosis do not necessarily conform to etiologic factors, but can also modulate pre-existing disease.
