描述This book?describes different control strategies adapted to heat pumps, at the purpose of increasing energy flexibility in buildings. It reports on the development of both simple rule-based controls (RBC) and advanced model predictive controls (MPC). These are tested and compared in both simulation and experimental setups. State of the Art in Heat Pump Controls, active elements in the energy grids, providing flexibility services when needed [.]. A quite extensive amount of research and articles has been published on these topics in the recent years. Because of the relatively new interest shown on energy flexibility with heat pumps, a clear overview is still lacking in this field.
