Neurogenic Origin of Talipes Equinovarusentions that address the root causes of racial and ethnic disparities in access to HIV prevention, care, and treatment. This chapter proposes three strategies to accomplish these goals: (1) acknowledge and address structural racism, (2) improve patient-provider relationships, and (3) diversify the HIV workforce.

HIV Prevention, Care, and Treatment for Transgender Communities of Color,ting oppression, i.e., racism, cissexism, transphobia, and HIV stigma, increases HIV vulnerability and reduces access to prevention and care services. Healthcare providers can facilitate care engagement by increasing their knowledge of transgender-specific healthcare issues and implementing gender-affirming care practices.
