Engineering Design Principles for HCI as a Way Forward for HCI Design Knowledge is shared by the two case studies of domestic energy planning and control and of business-to-consumer electronic commerce, summarised in the previous chapter and reported in full in the companion volume (Long et al., 2022, in press). Further research to acquire and to validate HCI-EDPs is also identified.
