Growth, Detwinning, and Properties of YBa2Cu3Ox and TmBa2Cu3Ox Single Crystalsreplaced by another. Additional information on the mechanisms of high-temperature superconductivity may be gained by investigating the resulting effects. Prom this viewpoint, LnBa.Cu.O. are definitely interesting.

Direct synthesis enables systems with a high density of elements with limitingly small dimensions to be formed. This is in contrast with selective growth and electron lithography, which are strictly limited to the minimal dimensions of separate elements [6].
