Amylin and Neuromedin U - Two Novel Regulatory Peptides of the Gastroenteropancreatic Systemrely different. Yet they both illustrate the ubiquity of the regulatory peptide system. They both are present in neural tissue and endocrine cells. In the latter they both appear to have a predominantly paracrine role.
