Natural Circumstance and Industrial Economy of the Study Area,In order to determine and control the groundwater pollution risk from the perspective of industrial economy, the chapter expounds on the geographical location, hydro-meteorological conditions, soil and vegetation, terrain, landform, stratigraphy and structure, hydrogeological conditions and industrial characteristics of the study area.

https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-59745-146-8the “concentration-loss” model to calculate economic losses of groundwater pollution, covering a variety of pollutants from different sources, and on this basis, put forward options to prevent and control groundwater pollution from the perspective of industrial economics. The chapter summarizes the conclusions obtained by the study.

Economic Losses of Groundwater Pollution,mic losses caused by groundwater pollution are calculated, which intuitively provides a dynamic and scientific basis for groundwater environmental protection and governance. The results support the establishment and implementation of groundwater pollution prevention and control system and the sustainability of economic development.

Groundwater Pollution Risk Assessment, of groundwater pollution covering a variety of typical pollutants in the study area. Groundwater pollution risk is believed to be a superposed result of intrinsic groundwater vulnerability and groundwater pollution load, and groundwater function, so the risk assessment is focused on pollution load assessment and groundwater function assessment.
