The idea that such objects might exist predates the era of modern physics. Their radii may be estimated theoretically to be around 10-12 km (the radius of an average human city), while their typical masses are 1.4 to 2 times the Solar mass (note that the mass of the Sun accounts for 99.86% of the mass of the entire Solar System).
