This chapter examines the role of technology and media, and the interface between the two, as key drivers in the evolving dynamics of state, society and the governance process.

Capability of a state in using technology applications like e-Governance varies widely across countries. This paper examines some of those features of e-Governance and highlights various aspects of those in the context of India.
