O-GlcNAc serves as a nutrient sensor to regulate virtually all cellular processes, as well as playing roles in various diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, and cancer. Targeting Glycans for Immunotherapy of Human Cancerss, but not detected or only weakly expressed in some limited normal tissues, are designated as tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens (TACAs). These TACAs may serve as potential targets for immunotherapy. The biological functions of TACAs and therapeutic strategies against TACAs will be addressed in this review.
