Bootstrapping an Incubation Program,ermined. Third, it is shown that glowworms, under the influence of two leaders with overlapping neighborhoods, asymptotically converge to one of the leaders. Some illustrative simulations are presented to support these theoretical findings.

The basic GSO algorithm, which was applied to multimodal optimization and signal source localization problems, considers a homogeneous swarm of mobile agents. In this chapter, a GSO variant for a heterogeneous swarm of mobile and stationary agents is developed and its application to ubiquitous computing environments is discussed.
