Prospective EFL Teachers’ Self-Perceived Competence and Attitudes Toward Teaching English to Young Lassessment issues. On the other hand, seniors felt most competent in material development and adaptation, whereas they considered themselves least competent regarding linguistic and pedagogical competence. The results are discussed, and pedagogical implications are offered.
