Diffraction and X-Ray Spectroscopy for the Evaluation of Structure of Amorphous Binariesarrangement, the use of X-ray absorption methods, namely EXAFS and furthermore XANES became more and more important. Using an electron microprobe, XANES spectra can be obtained in the laboratory. The sensitivity of the method is shown presenting the example of amorphous Fe.Zr. once without and once with 10% hydrogen.
