Whose Religion, Which Secular?,for the wellbeing of senior citizens. Implementation and monitoring of such schemes and coverage have not been satisfactory. This paper examines health, morbidity, mental health issues in elderly, available resources and recommended measures to deal with the situation.

Natalia Andrienko,Gennady Andrienko and weakening social bonds have exacerbated the phenomenon of fear of crime in the aged. To address this issue of fear of crime among the elderly, social initiatives, for instance, age friendly communities, neighbourhood watch programmes, helpline services in every district and Elderly Policy Councils have been recommended.
