,Z?hler für besondere Verwendungszwecke,We present a much idealized theory of jets and plumes in this chapter. Jet flows are very similar to boundary layers considered in the last chapter. Free jets and wakes can be created away from solid boundaries by a momentum source, while buoyant plumes involve effects of density.
