Variable Weight Based Clustering Approach for Load Balancing in Wireless Sensor Networksergy hole avoidance in WSNs. The characteristics of the paper are to adjust the weight of residual energy of a sensor and the distance between different nodes. Simulation results show that VWCA does better in energy hole avoidance among all sensor nodes and achieves an obvious improvement on the network lifetime.
