The Evolution of Comparative Plant Genetics,eses, and predictions about those species. The evolution of comparative genetics research from the whole plant level to the DNA level has synergistically expanded our knowledge of genome structure and function due to the complementarity of research among scientists working on different species.

The Identification of Genes for Complex Genetic Diseases,lve several genes and/or environmental influences. We have used the direct analysis of candidate gene loci, in which there was compelling biological evidence for involvement in the disease, to identify loci that play a role in HIV infection, development of AIDS, and age-related macular degeneration.

This review will examine work on the role of recombination in generating human diversity, in particular recent analyses of spatial heterogeneity in rates of recombination across the genome, as well as approaches to demonstrating individual or allelic heterogeneity in crossover rates.
