The Genetics of Coronary Heart Disease,r 151,377 million disability-adjusted life years (DALY). DALY is the number of years lost because of ill health, disability or premature death. Coronary heart disease (CHD) accounts for 41.35% (or 62,587 million) of these years, while cerebrovascular diseases account for another 30.78% (or 46,591 million) of these years [1].
