Stars and Cosmic Rays,th cool stars: protons, antiprotons, γ-rays, neutrinos, but also X-rays (> keV) and nuclear γ-ray lines. In spite of these differences, common features between hot and cool stars as regards their connection with cosmic rays are singled out.

Hadron and Muon Components in Photon Shower at 1015 eV, muons (Eμ > 500 GeV) in events generated by primary photons of very high energy. The calculated lateral distributions of muons with Eμ > 5 G and Eμ > 2 GeV in gamma-initiated showers predict a ? 8 ÷ 10 times lower density of the muon flux in comparison with the one in showers from primary protons or nuclei.

,Monopoles, Muons, Neutrinos, and Cygnus X?3,y data, in coincidence with the underground detector, since July of 1985. We describe the initial surface-underground data, and discuss the experiments to search for magnetic monopoles at the level of the Parker limit, neutrinos, and high energy cosmic ray air showers with these instruments and with a new atmospheric Cerenkov detector.
