An Application of Analytic Methods to Smectic A Liquid Crystals, Dislocation and Crack,s not directly given a concrete liquid crystal example in the previous presentation. In the end of the book we give an example to discuss smectic A liquid crystal and its screw dislocation and crack, these are interesting topics, although they are not quasicrystal problem.
