If Ω. is less than or equal to unity (open or flat model respectively), the universe will expand forever; if Ω. is greater than unity, the universe will recollapse eventually.

Phenomenology And Cosmology With Superstring Motivated Models,xion. The existence of topologically stable superconducting vortices (strings), surviving until today, is predicted. Other topics that are discussed include proton decay, the baryon asymmetry in the Universe and n - n oscillations.
