Investigation of an alternate method of processing global positioning survey data collected in kinermined. Two experimental results are presented. A byproduct of the reduction was the generation of a measure of success similar to the Geometrical Dilution of Precision (GDOP) familiar to those using measurements of pseudo ranges. Campaigns with WM101 in Austria 1987,swer mainly three questions:.The three campaigns have shown that in most cases we can answer these questions in a positive way. The precision of WM-101 seems to lie at the 1–2 ppm level for distances ranging from 5 km to 50 km.
