It is shown that I.R. overtone methods give a conductive weater model which usefulness is demonstrated by calculated and described properties of: liquid water, aqueous solutions and aqueous systems like membranes or biologic cells.

Rough Sets in BioinformaticsRough set-based rule induction allows easily interpretable descriptions of complex biological systems. Here, we review a number of applications of rough sets to problems in bioinformatics, including cancer classification, gene and protein function prediction, gene regulation, protein-drug interaction and drug resistance.

Pulmonary Venous AngiographySuccessful radiofrequency catheter ablation of ectopic beats originating from the pulmonary veins can eliminate paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF),. but the complex anatomy of this region may limit mapping of AF. Information about the structure of the pulmonary veins and left atrial junction is poorly reported, especially in the adult population.

Approximation Schemes in Logic and Artificial Intelligence,Approximate reasoning is used in a variety of reasoning tasks in logic-based artificial intelligence. In this paper we present several such reasoning schemes and show how they relate and differ from the approach of Pawlak’s Rough Sets.
