Few areas of public policy involving the developed anddeveloping countries have aroused more passion and ideological debatethan foreign aid. .In spite of the massive amount of research in the field, there isstill not enough work in two areas: the first involves the mechanismsthrough which aid influences the economies of the donor and therecipient countries; and the second, country-specific assessments ofthe effectiveness of foreign aid. .Foreign Aid: New Perspectives.is aimed at making a contribution in these two areas. .The contents of this volume are divided into four parts. Part I dealswith some theoretical aspects of foreign aid, while the second partanalyzes some general policy aspects. Part III turns to the donorexperience and includes one paper on the Danish experience. The lastpart considers the recipient experience and consists of five casestudies. | 出版日期 | Book 1999 | 關(guān)鍵詞 | Developing Countries; Inflation; Macroeconomics; development; economics; effectiveness; employment; trade p | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4615-5095-2 | isbn_softcover | 978-1-4613-7318-6 | isbn_ebook | 978-1-4615-5095-2Series ISSN 0924-199X | issn_series | 0924-199X | copyright | Springer Science+Business Media New York 1999 |
