Studies on the Control of Asparagine Biosynthesis in Mammalian Tissues to ASNase. A similar phenomenon now appears to prevail following the clinical use of ASNase on human malignancies. A second anomoly existed in normal tissues. Those normal tissues tested showed no requirement for ASN and a resistance to ASNase, but only limited L-asparagine synthetase (ASN SYN) [4, 8, 17, 20].

The Partitioning of L-Asparaginase between Blood and Lymphi-tumour effect of this enzyme. The purpose of this paper is to consider this problem in terms of what is already known about the extravasation of macro-molecules and also on the basis of experimental results obtained by observing the distribution of various samples of bacterial L-asparaginase in rats and sheep.

Our studies of the morphological pattern were intended to provide insight into the possible mechanism by which L-asparaginase acts on cells and tissues.
