Material Evolution and Emission Analysis of a Pilot-Scale Carbon Fibre Production Process,rt research facility and Fourier transform infrared gas analysis. By converting a polyacrylonitrile precursor into carbon fibres, this work identifies and quantifies key exhaust gases (HCN, NH., CO, and CH.) and correlates them with changes in the fibres’ elemental composition, revealing the underlying chemical mechanisms.

Conclusions and Potential Areas for Future Work,are identified but trade-offs in mechanical performance at higher speeds are outlined.
