It is expected that a systematic examination of the history of China’s borrowing of Japanese vocational education through the lens of educational policy transfer will, on the one hand, fill the gap in the study of the history of vocational education in China from the perspective of educational policy transfer, and on the other hand, allow the applicability of the educational transfer theoretical framework to be tested through the example of China’s borrowing from Japanese vocational education..
