International Student Collaborations to Achieve Teaching Excellence in Higher Education,ce in Civil Engineering, focusing on the international collaborations on the DAD Project. Key elements of such collaborations were identified in parallel discussion with the lecturers from all three universities involved in the collaboration.

Co-Creating Teaching Excellence in Curriculum Design Through Leadership and Entrepreneurship,he main research question via in-depth interviews with graduates before and after an intervention known as LEAD (leadership, entrepreneurship, ability, development). This study found evidence that the LEAD programme developed students’ theoretical and practical skills.

Results of the study showed that one end of semester course evaluation was not effective, and that a mid-semester evaluation would be more useful. The results also demonstrated that questions needed to be carefully thought out, with differentiated questions per discipline for the mid-semester review.

During the action research project, participants were invited to attend two facilitated student-staff collaborative workshops and complete a pre and post project questionnaire. At the end of the chapter we analyse and discuss the results of these collaborative workshops and consider what the next steps might be.

The key concepts of recipience, exaptation and adaptive expertise are introduced as factors that may help academics to construct a sense of coherence about their practice, and help them to assimilate the partnership perspective within their professional activities.
