BlepharoptosisIn adults this is about 1.5 mm below the upper limbus of the cornea [1]. The interpalpebral fissure in a normal caucasion adult is 10 mm high [2]. The upper eyelid is elevated chiefly by action of the m.levator palpebrae, innervated by n-III, and partly by the m.tarsalis which has a sympathetic innervation.
