Glycoconjugates of Cyanobacteria and Potential Drug Development From Them,surface as sheaths, capsules and/or slimes, or as released polysaccharides (RPS). In this chapter we discuss the chemical characteristics of glycans of cyanobacteria, their biosynthesis, use in glycotherapy and drug delivery device and potential for vaccine development.
