Kiril Simov,Alexander Popov,Petya Osenova 5V supply inside the NXT, or some part of it divided through an external resistor. It probably doesn’t come as a big surprise that you can connect an external voltage to the input and have the NXT convert that instead.

Rupesh Kumar Arora,Paramjit Singhrs powered this way. It’s defined as the 4.3V power supply, but the voltage actually varies about 7% with load. The plot in Figure 3-2 shows the voltage ranging from 4.6V, when is the power supply is lightly loaded, to 4.0V when it’s fully loaded.
