Commentary: Action, Edgework, and the Situated Logics of Risky share some common challenges and respond to these challenges in very similar ways. The present chapter responds to these two authors’ contributions by exploring important common themes that link the two studies and considering how their common insights point to some new directions for future research on voluntary risk taking.
