圖書封面Titlebook: Exploring Aging Masculinities; The Body, Sexuality David Jackson Book 2016 The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s) 2016 Age.aging.
描述This book explores the lived, embodied experiences of aging men as a counterpoint to the weary stereotypes often imposed on them. Conventionally, in Western cultures, they are seen as inevitably in decline. The book challenges these distorted images through a detailed analysis of aging men‘s life stories.

Research Methodology, these conversations took. As such, this might be referred to as a research method of ‘slow research’ that often fits the occasional slowing down and more careful scrutiny associated with the changing ages and bodily experiences of the research participants.

Internationale Programme zum Globalen Wandelmption is that aging men and women do not have the right to enter the privileged space of the young and certainly not with their perceived undesirable and unattractive bodies. Viewed through such an ageist prism, aging men who display a sexual interest are liable to be seen as inappropriate or even ‘dirty old men’.

https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-658-15737-1needs to be remembered that the majority of aging men live in systems of patriarchal power that still privilege men, despite their confrontations with ageism and loss, and stigmatise, penalise and oppress women (Kaufman, 1994). Therefore one of the objectives of this book is to contribute to change in creating greater gender equality.
