Verlagsbuchhandlung Julius SpringerPolycrystalline samples of MnSi.Ge. were prepared by the high-pressure synthesis technique. Mn, Si, Ge chips were first mixed with a stoichiometric ratio and melted in an arc furnace under an argon atmosphere.
