Graphically Specified Models,s of independence assumptions. However, these models are ad hoc because they are suitable only for the diseases-symptoms paradigms. In this chapter we show how more general dependency models are obtained using graphs. The basic idea consists of using undirected or directed graphs to build a dependency model.
