Minimizing Energy Through Task Allocation Using Rao-2 Algorithm in Fog Assisted Cloud Environment, cloud service providers. Task scheduling is an important factor which contributes to the energy consumption in fog servers. In this paper, a Rao-2, a metaphor-less and parameter-less algorithm, is implemented, for scheduling the tasks in the fog center for energy conservation by achieving the QoS.
