Solid State Effects in Atomic Capture of Negative Muonsstructures, showing that the muon capture mechanism is influenced by the spatial distribution of bonding electrons. In compounds, pion and muon capture ratios are both influenced by the bond structure. Hydrogen compounds are cases of particular interest.
