Evolutionary Multi-Objective Optimization: A Critical Review historical roots of multiobjective optimization, the motivation to use evolutionary algorithms, and the most popular techniques currently in use. Then, we will discuss some of the research currently under way, including our own. At the end, we will provide what we consider to be some of the most promising paths of future research.
