Summary, Conclusions and Policy Implications,cal and global air pollution, it might be beneficial to study other dimensions of environmental performance as well. This work concludes by reflecting upon possible policy implications. The findings suggest that policy-makers should support social equality and local and regional democracy to improve local environmental problems in particular.
