Variations in Fluorescence Spectra of a Bacterial Population During Different Growth Phases used. For 280?nm excitation, the measured spectra show a difference in spectral features between the bacterial population before sporulation and after it was partially sporulated. In comparison, a smaller variation in 355?nm excited LIF spectra of a bacterial population during exponential growth and the aging population is observed.

A Mobile Complex System for Fast Internal Contamination Monitoring in Nuclear and Radiological Terrowest reference level to plan stable iodine prophylaxis, the proposed MCS has a significant sensitivity to be used for fast internal monitoring in nuclear and radiological emergencies from malicious acts. Comparison of Classification Methods for Spectral Data of Laser-Induced Fluorescencen accuracy of over 90% is demonstrated. The data of the second setup with lower spectral resolution are equally sufficient for a subsequent classification. The results are compared and represented in a low-dimensional subspace for the purpose of visualization.
