In the present paper the potentials and process limitations pertaining to various generic solidification types are listed, and the feasibility, performance and prospects for the industrialization of the most advanced AIM variants are discussed.

Colloidally Processed Alumina — Ceria Stabilized Zirconia Compositeszed zirconia alumina composites have lower densities, less homogeneous microstructures and broader size distribution of the alumina grains and zirconia particles than unstabilized zirconia alumina composites. (iii) The stability of tetragonal zirconia increases with increasing the ceria content.

The Influence of Powder Characteristics on the Properties of Alumina Ceramics Shaped by Injection Monjection moulding from the suspension with 50 vol.% of Al5 SG powder were characterized by good mechanical strength in the green dry stage, low drying and firing shrinkage, high degree of densification and bending strength of approximately 250 MPa.

Kinetik eines Systems von Massenpunkten, that the growth of the beta grains associated with the crystallization of a glassy phase, may fall into the general category of “Chemically Induced Grain Boundary Migration” (CIGM).The implications of identifying this phenomenon as a possible governing behavior in the microstructural evolution of silicon nitride are also discussed.
