The unavailability of advanced classification methods based on the different characteristics of graphene hinders to some extent in its biomedical applications. Even though the progress of graphene-related materials is even now in its nascent stage, the tremendously advancing findings give us a bright hope in biomedical field.

M. Eric Gershwin,Edwin L. Klingelhoferand active targeting of tumor microenvironment and/or cancer cells were systematically illustrated. Aside from this, multidrug resistance (MDR) with respect to conventional chemotherapy and the ways to beat the situation with nanomaterials have been discussed along with their limitations in accomplishing successful cancer therapy.
