The Plant SNX Family and Its Role in Endocytosis,that plant SNXs may have evolved different mechanisms of action and might work in a different protein complex environment, compared to their yeast and animal counterparts. Angélique Lamontagne,Florence Gaunetroteins are found to be essential for pollen tube growth. Interestingly, similar to SCAMPs, VSRs are also found to locate in PM in pollen tube, indicating a possible role in endocytosis. This chapter summarizes the recent findings on plant SCAMPs and VSRs in respect to their possible roles in endocytic trafficking within plant cells.

The System-on-a-Chip Design Process, and selective recycling by vesicle trafficking and its meaning for the regulation of tip growth. The current state of the art allows to in detail comparing tip growth in root hairs and pollen tubes. Data from both systems may be mutually complementary and used for a better understanding of the complex phenomenon of tip growth.
