Relationship between minimal hepatic encephalopathy and extrapyramidal signs in cirrhotic patientsPatients with compensated cirrhosis can develop two types of mild neurological disturbance: a cognitive deficit designated minimal hepatic encephalopathy (mHE) and mild extrapyramidal dysfunction, probably due to the deposition of manganese in basal ganglia.

Little information is available relating to the relative sensitivity of SEEG and P300 in the detection of mHE.. The aim of this study was to compare the sensitivity of SEEG and auditory P300 in detecting mHE.
