Studies on the Performance and Emission Characteristics of a Diesel Engine Fueled with Honge Pyrolysse diesel. The emissions like carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, and hydrocarbons are found to be reduced significantly with HBO-diesel emulsions. In addition, the smoke emission was reduced considerably. Hence, HBO can be used as an alternative to the diesel fuel.
