Electron Lenses for Beam-Beam Compensation,on studies in the Tevatron and successful employment of the Gaussian electron lenses for significant improvement of the RHIC luminosity are to follow. Finally, we discuss practical aspects of the beam-beam compensation with electron lenses in the LHC.

Historic Achievement of a Common Standardh every 2.9 years [1]. Colliding beam facilities which produce high-energy collisions (interactions) between particles of approximately oppositely directed beams did pave the way for progress since the 1960s.

Following pioneering demonstrations of the transverse and longitudinal hadron beam halo collimation by electron beams, electron lenses are now considered as an additional, very flexible and effective element of any future high energy hadron collider.
