The Screening of Excess , Holes by , and , Electrons in Nickelkel is accompanied by an electron deficiency of about 0.4 in total at surrounding nickel atoms. Implications of this fact, in particular the inter-atomic interaction between holes and a narrowing of the d band are discussed.

The Ground State of fcc Nickel-Base Ferromagnetic Disordered Alloysfor the instability of the strong ferromagnetic state in this alloy system. The reasoning leading to this conclusion is discussed in detail. The spin fluctuation in the ground state in Ni-Fe alloys after the onset of the instability is expected then to become large.

Thermal Expansion Due to Magneto-Volume Effect in Ferromagnetic Metalstion [1]. Below the Curie temperature T., S.. usually decreases with increasing temperature while it increases with temperature above T.. This temperature variation can be quite significant in many cases and reflects itself in the thermal expansion.

Sandeep Pandey,Xu Chu,Eckart Laurien finite temperatures, the consideration of electron-electron correlation going beyond the mean-field approximation was indispensable even for qualitative understanding of the subject. This may have been one of the reasons why the controversy lasted for such long time.
