Experimental Verifications and Applications of the Theory, are in fact consequences of the electromagnetic theory. After a lot of valuable experimental verifications, this theory is used to obtain numerous efficiency curves corresponding to the usual profiles of commercial gratings. Some hints are then given on how to use them in classical and sometimes rather unusual mountings.
