Isopotential Mapping in Acute Myocardial Infarctionalue, 3] summarize our applications of these mapping methods, and 4] comment upon the limitations of isopotential mapping efforts undertaken to this date. By doing so, we shall attempt to delineate the appropriate position of body surface mapping methods in the study of acute myocardial infarction.

Localization of Cardiac Electrical Activity by a Single Moving Dipole for Ventricular Tachycardia inor during pacing with an endocardial catheter at a location which best reproduces the ECG morphology observed during VT (3). The site of earliest activation during VT can also be determined with endocardial catheters (4), and intraoperatively, the VT origin can be determined with greater accuracy by epicardial and endocardial mapping (5).
