Introduction,Many kinds of drawing are used in electrical engineering in order to record different categories of information. Technicians and technician engineers may have to produce only some of these types of drawing, but they will need to understand all of them, and be able to extract information from them.

Block Diagrams,For manufacturing, commissioning and testing electronic equipment full circuit diagrams are required which show all components and each of their interconnections. However, unless the apparatus is fairly simple and contains no more than, say, 50 to 100 components its mode of operation may be difficult to discover from the circuit diagram alone.

Ausgleichung von direkten Beobachtungen,st three views for completeness. Where less detail is required, for example in drawings which show how components are assembled or the location of particular features, it is often possible to reduce the number of views which need be drawn.
